With a diverse range of experience in both finance and the law, Mitchell H. Saranow is chairman of The Saranow Group, LLC, an investment company that has founded several organizations in the manufacturing and telecommunication industries. Prior to forming The Saranow Group, he served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer for CFS Continental, Inc. Saranow has received a number of honors for his work. Ernst & Young named him as the Illinois-Indiana Manufacturing Entrepreneur of the Year, and the University of Illinois elected him to its Entrepreneur Hall of Fame.Saranow is a graduate of Northwestern University, where he received a bachelor of science in business administration summa cum laude. He went on to earn a juris doctor cum laude from Harvard Law School, and a master of business administration with distinction from Harvard Business School. In 2001, he received a one-year appointment to serve as the James M. Collins Senior Lecturer at Harvard Business School, and was invited to participate in the Traphagen Distinguished Alumni Speaker Series at Harvard Law School.
